Congratulations To All Our Winners!
Our B2B Expo would not be complete without the Innovation Awards - which take place every year on day two of our mammoth marketing event.
These awards are a collection of accolades recognising the innovation and cutting-edge design currently available in the sector that’s helping to optimise marketing performance. In all there were four awards up for grabs; Best Product Award, Overall Innovation Award, Best Service Award and Best Newcomer Award.
This year's judging panel featured the creme de la creme of the marketing world, with each of the nine members playing pivotal roles within the marketing departments of the world's biggest brands and businesses. The panel - including the likes of our keynote speakers Jason Miller, Global Marketing Lead at LinkedIn, and Jeremy Waite, Marketing Evangelist for IBM - listened and judged a host of well-delivered 3 minute pitches.
Catherine Maskell, Head of Global marketing also had this to say about being a judge: “I thoroughly enjoyed my experience as a judge and the pitching format. I was impressed by the standard of pitches, all companies being able to promote their services within 3 minutes and use technology to assist them.”
There was a sense of tension before the winners were announced - which you may think would be impossible in the vast space of the 100-acre-wide London convention centre. As each of them was read out by our partners, AdRoll, the winners gladly accepted their awards and there was a huge sense of achievement and celebration throughout the Networking Arena.
Sheila Mitham who is Client Services Director at Intrigger had this to say about winning the best Marketing Service award: "The expo was buzzing, the conversations with visitors were insightful. We are delighted to win the Best B2B Marketing Service Award 2017. The judging process involved detailing and showing how InTrigger’s unique approach to servicing our clients deserved the winner’s spot. Our hard work has paid off. We’re looking forward to rolling out our unique approach to many more clients in 2017".

Best Product Award; This award recognises businesses who deliver products which improve the productivity of people and the profitability of business through technology, software and other tools.
Winner; Deep Crawl
Recognised as delivering an outstanding product, and an absolute must-have in every SEO arsenal, Deep Crawl is arguably the most comprehensive website crawler in the world. During their 3 minute pitch the judges were impressed by the many solutions that the tool can provide, and the number of global companies they currently support in over 50 different countries, making 20,000 + crawls monthly on 200 million URLs.
Overall Innovation Award; Would you describe yourself or your CEO as a thought leader in the sector? Is the product or service you deliver the leader in its sector? Or have you recently developed or initiated a new product or process which has groundbreaking potential? If so, this award is designed to potentially recognise you.
Protocol enable customers to make confident and well-informed decisions in all areas of B2B marketing, and their CMO Justin Hall is recognised for his years of work spent on research, informing and creating Protocols values - Resulting in 200% YoY growth.
Best Service Award; This award recognises businesses who provide an exceptional service to clients holistically, or focused on a particular channel which is proven to be integral to clients success.
Intrigger digital agency is a small but rapidly scaling team, recognised as winners in this category thanks to their targeted and bespoke approach to the newly emerging sector of Virtual Reality. Intrigger demonstrated a proven ability to work effectively on strategies targeting the early adopters of Virtual Reality devices and the judges were impressed with the service delivery.
Best Newcomer Award; This award is open to businesses who have traded for 3 years or less in any sector, and recognises growth, exceptional results, a successful point of differentiation in the market and brand strength.
The winners describe themselves as a young company with big aspirations and the judges concur - impressed with their achievements so far, including a rapidly growing team, a successful resource blog, and the provision of social media software and services to 237 businesses. ContentCal are on a mission is to become the no 1 brand associated with ‘social media management’ in the UK, and with this award under their belt, there’s no stopping them!
Next year we are back bigger and better than ever with five expos under one roof!
