The Power of Webinars in the Healthcare Industry

Due to technological advances in recent times there have been an influx of new products appearing in the Healthcare market. When launching a new product, it has never been more difficult to stand out from the crowd. The financial difficulties currently faced by the NHS make this even more difficult due to under-staffing as well as a shortfall in funds needed to procure new goods and services.

Companies operating in the Healthcare Industry need to employ a variety of different methods to effectively promote their products and services. A number of stakeholders, all with different objectives, need to be convinced of the benefits and value of these products and an educational approach is key.

COVID-19 has had a huge impact on worldwide business and Healthcare is on the front line of the battle. The NHS, in particular. has traditionally been a slow adopter of technologies but even they have had to turn to virtual meetings, webinars and online training throughout this period.

In this presentation, Jamie Munro from Pentland Medical will explain the difficulties of operating in the UK Healthcare Industry where the majority of business is reliant on the NHS. What marketing methods have worked well for them and how the recent implementation of webinars has added value to their approach, not only for sales and marketing but also for product training and education.
